This Is Remote Living, and That’s the Magic

You’ll eat what the family eats, usually a combo of fresh fish, rice and vegetables. Meals are simple but made with love, often from ingredients are caught from the sea and vegetables and other ingridients from markets in Waisai.

Food and daily supplies are transported from Waisai or Sorong, so availability and variety can be limited at times. This is part of local island life — and exactly why you’re here. Come with patience, curiosity, and be ready to return to the basics.
