Our Story
We are Anni (from Vantaa, Finland) and Fatur (from Togean Islands, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia). Together, we founded Indo SeaSpirit to share our passion for the ocean, adventure, and conservation with like-minded explorers.

Our paths crossed in 2016 on Una Una Island (part of the Togean Islands), introduced by Fatur’s brother, Fahri. It wasn’t until 2019, when we found ourselves living together on Una Una, that the sparks truly ignited. Since then, we’ve been on an adventure-filled journey, from camping in Wayag, Raja Ampat, to backpacking across Sulawesi. Our travels are always wild, sometimes chaotic, and forever memorable.

The Nature-Loving Environmental Warrior Growing up surrounded by nature in Finland, Anni was fascinated by nature documentaries, which helped her overcome her fear of the ocean and dive headfirst into a life of underwater exploration. She’s now a scuba diving instructor, environmental advocate, and adventure seeker who thrives on planting coral, rehabilitating mangroves, and even growing her own nursery plants. She believes in the power of healthy living, and healthy ecosystems.
