Raja Ampat is special because it’s home to the richest marine biodiversity on Earth — a remote paradise of crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and untouched islands where nature still rules. It’s not just a destination, it’s a living, breathing wonder of the ocean.
Where is Raja Ampat?
Raja Ampat is a remote archipelago located in West Papua, Indonesia. Known as the heart of the Coral Triangle, it’s home to the most biodiverse marine ecosystem on Earth. These islands are not just about stunning views — they are alive with culture, color, and conservation.

What Can You Do in Raja Ampat?
Here’s what awaits you in this tropical wonderland:
Snorkeling in Raja Ampat: Explore crystal-clear waters filled with manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and over 500 coral species.
Island Hopping Adventures: Visit remote islands, secret beaches, and traditional Papuan villages.
Wilderness Camping: Sleep in tents by the sea, cook by fire, and wake up with the ocean as your alarm clock.
Coral Conservation: Join reef-safe adventures that support local communities and protect the environment.
Mangrove Tours & Birdwatching: Discover rare species and magical blue lagoons tucked away in ancient mangrove forests.
When Is the Best Time to Visit?
Wondering about weather if it will rain?
Don’t be. Out here, we dance with the weather — rain brings nutrients, fish, and underwater magic.

It might shift our island schedule a bit (no strict timetables here!), but it never stops the adventure.

Raja Ampat is wild, tropical, and wonderfully unpredictable — just like the adventures we offer.

Are There ATMs in Raja Ampat? How Can I Pay for Things?
There are very limited ATMs in Raja Ampat, and most remote islands do not have banking facilities. While the town of Waisai has a few ATMs, they are not always reliable, and international cards may not work consistently.

We highly recommend you:
-
Bring enough Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in cash before arriving in Raja Ampat for your personal spending (snacks, souvenirs, etc.)
-
Withdraw money in Sorong or at the airport before taking the ferry
-
Expect to pay for most things in cash, including homestays, local shops, island fees, and small transport
-
You can pay to us via Wise/Revolut, local villages are only accepting cash.

Card payments are rare in remote areas — especially on uninhabited islands or during wilderness trips like ours.
Is There Wi-Fi or Electricity in Raja Ampat?
Wi-Fi and electricity are limited in most parts of Raja Ampat, especially on remote islands and during wilderness camping trips. While some homestays and guesthouses may offer basic electricity or weak Wi-Fi in the evenings.

You should be prepared for:
-
No reliable internet during most parts of your trip
-
Limited electricity, usually only at night
-
No phone signal in many areas — a true digital detox!

We recommend bringing a power bank or solar charger and letting your friends and family know you'll be offline during your adventure.

This disconnection is part of the magic — giving you space to reconnect with nature and live in the moment.
